The
purpose of the Internet Ministry is to use
the Internet and Church Website to:
- Provide
basic information about the East Hill
Church of Christ to the church members
and to the community.
|
- Provide
a “forum of fellowship” for
members of the church to reach
out to and stay in touch with those
within the church family, their circle
of influence, and within their
neighborhood.
- Create
“at home” mission and evangelistic
opportunities for members.

- Teach
church members to use new media to
minister to others (i.e., prayer
ministry, on-line support groups,
etc.).
- Provide
a global connection between the church
and the missionaries in foreign
countries.
Provide a higher level of
communication between the church and
the missionaries.
- Provide
encouragement and edification to the
home-bound.
- Provide
on-line resources of all kinds (for
ministry, personal bible study, and
more) through links to larger Church
of Christ websites and communities on
the Internet.
- Provide
opportunities for members with various
spiritual gifts to support the church
through their website design and
maintenance.
